How to solve the side scratches of stamping deep drawing parts

1. Is the gap design of the stamping die reasonable.

When designing the gap of the stamping die, it is necessary to comprehensively consider the product size, material, thickness and stretch height. Unreasonable mold gap design will cause scratches on the side of the deep drawing part.

2. Stamping and deep drawing process.

For products with higher heights or smaller diameters, at the beginning of the design of the mold, the number of deep drawing procedures required must be calculated. If the process design is too few, it will also cause scratches.

3. The influence of mold surface roughness.

For stainless steel products, the roughness of the mold surface also has a great influence on the surface quality of the product. So we need to polish the mold surface.

4. Choose stamping equipment.

Since stamping process is a severely deformed process for the material, it is better to use hydraulic presses for processing. The speed of the mechanical stamping process is too fast, and the surface quality of the product may not meet the requirements of the processing process.

5. Selection of raw materials.
