During the stamping process, a certain degree of roughness will be formed on the surface of the stamping parts, which is not conducive to the application of stamping parts. In particular, precision stamping parts not only affect the appearance, but also affect product quality and shorten the service life of stamping parts. Therefore, in order to better improve the performance of stamping parts, it is necessary to reduce the surface roughness. INVITECH Stamping Company—30 years of customized processing services for precision stamping parts, we can customize various complex precision stamping parts according to customer requirements. The following are some methods that Yiwei Precision summarized to reduce the surface roughness of stamping parts.
1. Selection of raw materials: Many different raw materials are used in the stamping process. According to the density of raw materials, the choice of tool and machine tool during processing will directly affect the surface roughness.
2. Cutting amount: in terms of cutting feed, choose a reasonable processing technology: in the stamping production process, the processing technology is also very important, and the unreasonable technology may affect the processing quality and production efficiency. Many precision stamping parts require finishing after rough machining.
3. Selection of tool geometry parameters: starting from the tool geometry parameters, appropriately reduce the auxiliary deflection angle and increase the radius of the tool nose arc. If necessary, the polished edge can be polished to make cutting easier and reduce surface roughness.
4. Control the vibration of the machine tool: reduce the friction and extrusion between the tool and the stamping parts to make the tool sharp. For some stamping materials with good toughness, add cutting fluid and conduct appropriate heat treatment.
